About This Project
The End of Shift Report system is a Power Platform-based solution that digitizes the traditional shift reporting process. It allows employees to submit structured reports at the end of each shift, ensuring that all important updates, incidents, and task statuses are properly documented and accessible to the next shift. The system improves operational continuity by replacing manual or verbal handovers with a centralized, standardized reporting format.
The Challenge
Shift handover processes were previously inconsistent, relying on manual notes, emails, or verbal communication. This often led to missing information, miscommunication between shifts, and delays in task continuation.
Our Solution
A structured digital reporting system was developed using Power Apps to capture end-of-shift summaries. Power Automate was used to route reports and notify relevant stakeholders automatically, ensuring that incoming shifts receive complete and timely information.
